ABOUT ME

My name is Nicci, and as an Independent Celebrant, I am dedicated to creating bespoke, heartfelt, and truly personalised ceremonies. It is both an honour and a privilege to write and deliver ceremonies that genuinely reflect each specific occasion.

At the centre of my work is a deep appreciation for people — listening to their stories, understanding their journeys, and supporting families in sharing those stories in a way that is both memorable and sincere. I am committed to ensuring that each ceremony is custom-built and fully represents each client’s individual needs, that it is authentic, meaningful and personal.

My approach is underpinned by a diverse professional background and the formal training and qualifications I obtained through the Academy of Professional Celebrants. These foundations, combined with empathy shaped by personal experience and a genuine curiosity about people from all walks of life — further enriched through travel and cultural awareness — inform the care, sensitivity, and professionalism I bring to every service.

Following redundancy from my lecturing role, I have committed fully to my work as a celebrant. My path into celebrancy began on a personal level, having presided over both of my parents’ funerals, delivered the eulogy at my brother’s service, and assisted in the organisation of two weddings. Through these experiences, I recognised my ability to research, write, and deliver tributes that are compassionate, appropriately light-hearted when fitting, and always thoughtful and sincere. My aim is to create a fully bespoke ceremony for each occasion, carefully reflecting the wishes of my clients and bringing their vision to life with authenticity and respect.
